All Honors students belong to the University Honors Student Association (UHSA). The UHSA Board has members representing many colleges, and they plan events catered to all, as well. UHSA coordinates activities and events throughout the school year based on the interests of the current stduents.
Some of the things Honors students have done in recent years include:
- volunteering at People Serving People
- hosting a Welcome Week picnic at Middlebrook Hall
- UROP and CESP informational events
- GopherWay Trick o' Treating
- bowling, lazer tag, and more!
The 2nd Annual Honors Spring Formal is coming up this April, too!

The goal of the University Honors Student Association is to develop a higher level of academic, social, and community oriented thinking among Honors students through informational, social, and service events. The Association’s purpose is based on the belief that in addition to academic excellence, Honors students should be actively engaged in both other academic departments at the University and with their community outside of the classroom. UHSA strives to offer Honors students activities and programs that focus on Professional Development, Community Service, Social Development, and Academic Enrichment by creating service events, informational events, and fun social events to bring people in the UHP together! UHSA also serves as a liaison between Honors students and the University Honors Program faculty and staff.
